Joe has been the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Westfield since 2011.  In this role, Joe is responsible for the finance, accounting, actuarial, corporate planning, risk management, procurement, and investment functions at Westfield.  In addition, Joe has responsibility for Westfield’s Surety business.  As a member of Westfield’s senior leadership team, Joe is engaged in corporate leadership activities such as corporate strategy, capital allocation, enterprise risk management, human capital planning and enterprise capability planning and execution. Joe also serves as an ex-officio board member of Westfield Bank.

Joe joined Westfield in 2000 as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Westfield Bank, a subsidiary of Westfield.  Prior to joining Westfield, Joe was the Chief Financial Officer of a privately held group of manufacturing companies based in Akron, Ohio and was the Assistant Corporate Controller at Austin Powder Company.  Joe began his career as an auditor in the Cleveland Office of Ernst & Young LLP.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and graduated from the University of Chicago Booth’s Advanced Management Program in 2012.  Joe is a licensed CPA in the State of Ohio (inactive) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Joe currently serves on the board of the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, the American Cancer Society Board of Ambassadors, the EY Northeast Ohio Alumni Council and is the President of the Highland Athletic Facilities Association.  He is past President of the Medina County Economic Development Corporation and past Chair of APCIA’s Federal Regulation and Global Convergence Committee.  Joe is a 2015 graduate of Leadership Cleveland and a 2006 graduate of Leadership Medina County.

Joe resides in Sharon Township, Ohio with his wife Calli.  They have four adult children.
